During the last days I already blogged about my bad luck with the Microsoft XBOX-Live support and their absurd policy, that I am not the owner of my own account because I paid for it with the credit card of someone else.
Today the story continued because I tried again my luck with the XBOX-Live support. An arrogant operator (Mr. Hansen) refused my cancelation again with the ridiculous justification that knowing the credit card number is not reason enough that I am authorized to cancel the account. According to him it is easy to get the credit card number of another person and therefore knowing it is not enough to cancel the account. (Well obviously in his confusing world knowing the name of the owner of the credit card is on the other hand nearly impossible.)
When I asked him what a stupid nonsense that is and that I could simply call him again in 2 days and claim to be my father, he replied: "Yes you can do that".
After this I created an account at the XBOX Live forums and asked for the 'impressum' which is nowhere on their site. Additionally I sent an email to the support team of Microsoft Germany asking them for the address where my laywer could send the cancelation to...
Long story... But the end is, that I called the XBOX-Live support a third time and suddenly the operator (the 3rd one) accepted my cancelation, without asking for the rightful owner of the credit card, because he had read my email.
This once again prooves: all good things are 3 and the more annoying you are, the easier you get what you want.
